Starting out as a vintage collector and reseller, I have always appreciated the story that each piece of clothing carries. Whether it be the story behind the design, or signs of wear and tear, these fabrics are uniquely their own. Like most collectors, I remember where I found a lot of my favorite pieces, sometimes the bin I’ve pulled them from. One of my favorite shirts in my collection is a vintage navy blue Hanes tee, with “CATHOLIC RADIO 1460 KHOJ” printed on the pocket. This shirt was given to me in St. Louis, Missouri, by my friend Coop (@thankscoop) back in December of 2018. When I see this shirt, I see images of Coop’s basement - the cabinet with his record collection , multiple clothing racks with his own prints and vintage hits, and his screens. At the time I had never seen screen printing screens, nor did I have an idea of how the process worked. Coop was the one who inspired me to start printing my own clothes, and inspires me with his work to this day. I hope to share pieces of my life and my story in each print, and create memories through clothes like the ones I hold close to me.
